Small Finance Bank

The role of small finance banks is to accept deposits and provide loans to small business units, farmers, weaker sections, unorganized sector units, etc. Capital Small Finance Bank, the first small finance bank in India, was established in 2016. ESAF is the first small finance bank in Kerala. ESAF Small Finance Bank was established in March 2017. It was granted scheduled status by the Reserve Bank of India in 2018.
