Cheraman Juma Masjid

Located in Kodungallur, Thrissur district, Cheraman Juma Masjid is the first Muslim mosque in India. This mosque was built in 629 by Malik Ibn Dinar, who came from the Arab country. This is the mosque where the first Juma'a prayer was held in India. This is the only Muslim mosque in India where lamps are lit.

Malik Dinar Mosque

Located in Thalangara in Kasaragod district, this mosque is one of the earliest Muslim mosques in India. This centuries-old mosque, with its timeless architectural beauty, is located on the banks of the Chandragiri River.

Mamburam Mosque (Mamburam Maqam)

A major Muslim pilgrimage centre in South India. Located in Tirurangadi taluk of Malappuram district. This mosque was built under the leadership of Mamburam Syed Alavi Thangal, a prominent leader in Kerala Muslim history.

Thazhathangady Juma Masjid

Located in the town of Thazhathangady in Kottayam district, this mosque is believed to have been built by Habib Dinar, the son of Malik Dinar, who introduced Islam to Kerala. Built in the traditional Kerala architectural style, this mosque is famous for its architectural richness and the beauty of its carvings. This mosque is located on the banks of the Meenachil River.

Odathil Mosque

Located in Thalassery, Kannur district, this approximately 250-year-old mosque was built by Moosa Kakka, the founder of the Keyi dynasty. The construction of Odathil Mosque is a combination of Keralite and Persian architectural styles.

Palayam Juma Masjid

A famous mosque located in Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram district. This mosque was founded in 1813 and rebuilt in 1967.
